Rolling Road Chassis Dynamometer !

This is a rare and unique opportunity to buy a custom made Eddy current braked rolling road. The 2WD machine was custom built in 2011 by a scientific instrument manufacturer and has seen only light use for testing and tuning private racing cars and road cars since it was first installed. The rollers are dynamically balanced and run on NSK pillow bearings which have been regularly greased since new. Cars can be driven up to 200mph. A 100 points per revolution rotary encoder is used to measure the RPM. A 650bhp eddy current brake is controlled in closed loop with the rollers to enable the computer to run steady state tests and dynamic tests. The machine can also be used to measure transmission losses and calculate flywheel horse power. Projection of engine power according to SAE J1349 standard. The industrial computer runs windows XP and has a very easy to use graphical interface made especially for this machine. It runs on a normal 220v single phase supply at up to 20amps on full power. The Manufacturer provides excellent worldwide technical support and parts backup. This machine is extremely accurate, Chassis Dynamometers of this calibre normally cost upwards of 30,000 I am selling the machine to pay university fees, it will be an excellent and profitable addition for your business or even a whole business in itself. Examples:- Power run 40 for 15 minutes, 10 a week would be around 4000 a month! Engine Tuning 120 an hour, 10 hours a week would be around 4800 a month this is easily achievable. The only major costs associated with running the machine are a small amount of electric and some paper for the printer. The machine can be used above ground with ramps as in the picture or sunk into a pit, I will include the fold away ramps with the sale. I will also throw in two large drum fans, a 2hp cooling fan and a fume extractor fan. these alone add up to 1000 I will also include the silent 50L Jun-Air compressor which is used to power the brake and lift beam, this scientific grade compressor would cost over 2000 new. The computer will also come with a laser printer, industrial IP65 sealed keyboard, remote control, and the stainless steel moveable cart.
